Welcome to Temple Christian School!
Our theme for the 2022 school year is: Our faith can move mountains, based on Ephesians
2:8-10. It is with these verses in mind that we step into our school year. My prayer for our
school is that we see any challenges that may arise as opportunities. When we continue
to step out in faith, trusting the plan that God has set for our school and each of our
families, we will be in awe of the blessings that God has planned for each of us.
We believe that learning can and should happen inside and outside of the classroom
setting. With that in mind, there are new programs planned for our elementary students
this year with a focus on the wise use of resources, including a discussion on our local
ecosystem and a presentation on energy.
We are excited to offer electives to our secondary students that we have not been able to
offer previously. Our focus this year is on creating a more well-rounded student that is
prepared for college, vocational school or the workforce with real world skills focused
electives such as Intro to Carpentry, Technical Theatre Design, and Speech/Debate. For
other electives, we will continue to offer chorus, art, drama, Spanish, sewing, cooking,
yearbook and more.
We are raising funds for fencing around the football field and basketball area on the north
side of the property. To kick off our school fundraising efforts this year we are partnering
with local restaurants to have TCS Nights where a portion of the proceeds for the event
will be given back to the school. This is a yummy and easy way to support our school.
Please keep an eye out for details in the school newsletter for details on which restaurants
are hosting these events. Your promotion of the TCS Nights fundraiser events on your
own social media and amongst your friends and family is greatly appreciated. The more
support we have from the community on these TCS Nights, the closer we will be to our
fundraising goal.
Please keep up with all the need-to-know school info by reading through the weekly school
newsletters, correspondence from the school and teachers, and Gradelink. Gradelink has
a wealth of information available to you at your fingertips: school calendars, special
events, classroom assignments, grades, and attendance. If you need help logging into
Gradelink, please contact the school office at (321) 269-2837 for assistance.
1 am looking forward to stepping out in faith with you this next year and seeing all of the
amazing things that God has in store for our Temple Family.
