School History

Temple Christian School was born in the heart of Pastor Wendell Correll and our first administrator Greg Correll during 1994. The ministry was started with 1st-12th grade students totaling sixteen students in 1994 and named Temple Baptist Church Christian School.

From the very outset, the school experienced rapid growth. We started as an ACE school, and then in 1999, we transformed into a traditional school using the Abeka curriculum.

Mrs. Andrea Stoner became the Administrator in 2024. Mrs. Stoner was born and raised right here in Titusville, Florida and received her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Central Florida. Mrs. Stoner has been a Christian educator here at TCS since 2012. Mrs. Stoner has a great love and vision for TCS.

We thank God for His faithfulness in providing students, teachers, staff, and the necessary finances and facilities during these years. Much has been accomplished for His glory, and with the hymn writer we say: “To God Be the Glory, Great Things He Hath Done.” We look forward with great anticipation to the way in which He will direct the expanding outreach and the continuing growth of Temple Christian School.

Our Philosophy

At TEMPLE CHRISTIAN SCHOOL our goal is for our students to learn that they are blessings, unique creations of God, who can experience a personal relationship with Jesus. We endeavor to guide students to first seek God's will in their lives, as opposed to searching after material and worldly objects. As God has created each student with unique gifts and challenges, as a Christian school we support individual academic, cognitive, social, physical, emotional and spiritual needs. Furthermore, a biblical worldview is taught in every subject and area of instruction.

Rich Tapestry of Opportunities at TCS

At TEMPLE CHRISTIAN SCHOOL, we go beyond the classroom to offer a dynamic range of experiences:

  • Faith-Based Education: Rooted in Christian values, our curriculum integrates faith into every aspect of learning, helping students develop a strong moral compass and a deeper understanding of their relationship with God.
  • Small Class Sizes: Experience personalized attention and support with our smaller class sizes, ensuring that every student receives the individualized instruction they deserve.
  • Comprehensive Curriculum: From our use of the Abeka and BJU Press curriculum in grades K-6 to a diverse range of secondary education offerings, including science labs, music instruction, drama, and electives, we provide a well-rounded education that prepares students for success in life.
  • Dual Enrollment Opportunities: Take advantage of our partnership with Eastern Florida State College and Trinity Baptist College, allowing high school students to earn college credits and jumpstart their college academic journey.
  • Robust Athletics Program: Our athletics program fosters teamwork, leadership, and discipline, offering students opportunities to participate in volleyball, basketball, and more.
